Gold, Silver Wing, Buffalo, War Nickel Etc.

These finds are from 3 different hunts. Two hunts occurred on Friday night and the other hunt was yesterday. The first hunt on Friday night produced what looks like the part of a cross that is marked .925. The other notable find is this silver .925 bracelet.

The second hunt on Friday night produced this gold crucifix which is missing the bail. The bale must have held the gold mark, lots of Mexican and Taiwan jewelry have bale marks. It looks to be a white gold crucified Jesus and a yellow gold cross. This park has so much clad I stopped hunting because it was getting late and I was tired. I intended to go back early the next morning but I didn’t.

Yesterday’s hunt netted me a sterling silver wing badge, 1 buffalo nickel, a 1945 war nickel and 11 wheat’s.

Nice going! Don't see how you could be tired. LOL. Love the wings and I'd hazard a guess that the cross is probably 14K, just judging by some that I've seen in the past. WTG! HH!

Thanks everyone, and a special thanks to PBK for ID’ing the Pilot Badge and posting the link.

Hi modernminer, that’s a modern day 2 pesos coin from Mexico. Hey, and thanks for the props on the clad coins or non-key coins cleaning recipe I posted.

I went back the next day but a toggle switch on my machine went kaput. But not before I found a Gold plated band, an anchor button and a 44 wheat. I only hunted for about 35 minutes. I’ll post the pictures tonight.

It pays to get the low down on the area you plan on hunting, or at the very least you have to have sharp elbows. I have both.
