Thanks everyone! I plan on laying low on the civil war stuff for a month or two and hit some colonial and early 19th century hot spots I have been researching! Lot of property in the Northern Neck of Virginia has never had a MDer run on it compared to most civil war sites were you are even lucky to dig melted lead sometimes! Good luck everyone and always do research and look @ old maps it really does pay off! :occasion14:

That is what I was thinking too when I first dug it! I posted it in "What Is It" hopefully I will find out. Was thinking decoration piece, game piece or possibly confederate flag.
