Got out with fast frank today and decided to go back up to the site where i dug my chain cent along with 6 other coppers.
Today 1st target near the the area i dug most coppers last time on cellar hole lip out popped a no date King George II. 2nd target near the coin was the brass knee buckle.never seen one like this before with the round nubs on it. dug a ton of iron around lip,had to take a break from that,
wandered around away from cellar hole and got a nice reading at 5 inches. a gorgeous silver framed designed knee buckle popped out
never dug a silver one yet.it's not marked and no signs of any peeling so i'm almost sure it's solid silver. a few buttons and a iron spur with the spur buckle still fused to it.just a little rust is all thats holding it onto the spur.
was a great day! Frank got a 1787 CT copper & a few buttons

:D ,Yeh You Did.Good stuff man.Continue on. :headbang:

That site has tremendous potential for some Early US silver or better yet , an early US Gold coin . The buckles are awe striking examples of what may still be hiding :headbang: now is the time to dig it all , even if you have to rent a back hoe ! scratch the backhoe idea , that may be a bit too extreme , but you know what I am sayin' :o :laughing7: 8) 8) dawg

:thumbsup:Your on fire lately!!!Good for you bud!

Those buckles looks great! I am sure more and better things are going to come from that site too.

Beautiful buckles there! The silver one is sweet! I have only found one neck stock buckle which is in beautiful condition...tons of colonial shoe buckles and sling buckles...but no knee buckles.
