A few years ago, my brother-in-law died. My sister finally got around to going through and getting rid of some things she has no use for. Knowing I had got back into the hobby again, she is bringing me his old metal detector this weekend (sadly, she's coming up for our sister-in-law's funeral). A Compass Magnum 420 ... VLF/TR Discriminator, in excellent working condition, with only the coil having a few scuff marks. These were made 25-30 years ago (?) I vaguely remember the ads from Compass back then.

The one thing she could not locate is the manual. Does anyone have a clue where to locate one for a company that's no longer in business?

I appreciate any info on getting a manual and/or what the capabilities are (or are not) as an MD. Thanks much!
