Hello everyone...I have never had a cause to post in this forum before, as I had never found a complete point, but today was just unbelievable. I'm still in shock!

Here is the link to the whole story:

What I would like to know is....Are these Hillsborough Points?

I found 10 nice ones, and 3 broken tips in a hole while digging a piece of buckshot.

Absolutely fantastic! I'd dig a bigger hole. I'm gonna read the story in a bit but based on the images...I'm about ready to cast a banner vote....

I can't tell much difference between Cypress Creek and Hillsboro

I think your right hillsborough fits the type

Gonna be one for the books. Good area for 'em, too. Look like some would be what they are calling "Pasco"'s now. Hillsboroughs without the downswept wings and often rounded base. Holy Cow.

I voted banner as well :icon_thumright:

Thanks guys! I was shaking like a leaf!

Those really are basically the first points I have ever found besides little broken pieces, and flakes.

I'm going to mount that little piece of buckshot in the case with them!

We dug it out some more, and will be back...this was at the end of about 5 hours of relic hunting!

My buddy found two chunks of unworked material about 2 or 3 feet away, at the same depth.
