Lake Erie Views

We took a 3 day weekend and went up to Lake Erie (surprise!).
I got these pics going out of the channel on Saturday.






We went out by West Sister Island. Here's a little boat ride for you.



We didn't catch anything there, so we went almost to Toledo closer to shore.



I'm going to need a lot of practice with these bird shots.

These people are living nice.



They have a nice private beach.


We got skunked, as I mentioned before. So Sunday, we drove over to Vermillion, OH. These people are definitely living the "Good Life."








Mr. WD was told this is the only 5 star restaurant in Ohio.

Used to go to Vermilion in the late 50s. Was a busy resort area then. Glad to see it is still looking good!

They have lots of rules and regulations that keep it looking nice. For instance, all the houses/cottages are white with black shutters in that neighborhood.

That's a pretty great lake.

I'm going to try and show you as much as I can. Vermillion is one of my favorite places to go. They have a lot of antique shops downtown. And a good, old-fashioned Candy Shop!
