X Terra 505 on the way!

Thanks for the help I've received from you guys. I decided on the X Terra 505. It's my first Minelab and I'm hoping it will work well for me. Today I just got a good deal on Fleabay: $360 for a very clean, gently used, 505 plus a 6" 7.5 hkz coil and a Minelab weather cover on control box. I'm really excited to try it out. After using the Vaquero for the past year, this will be quite an interesting change of pace! Any tips or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again everybody, Scott.

You'll enjoy using it, the X Terra's are a good detector, purchased my X Terra 70 back in 06 and it's been extremely reliable

The absolute best tip is to go to the Minelab website and sign up. Then go to the MEMBERS area and download Randy Horton's free E-book "Understanding Your Xterra", and read it....twice.
