Show and Share treasure Displays

Hi. I'd love to see how everyone figures out creative ways to display your treasures and finds without altering their authenticity . I hate putting them away in drawers, the things I've found, instead of having them out to enjoy. I could use some ideas for axe heads, blacksmith chisels, old farm tools. I've got an outside tbing I'm working on, if I finish, I'll post.

Thank you much. I love cozy.... And cheap... Lol

Great displays.

Thank you. Perhaps from the lack of response .... And largely male audience of TNet, I can assume men are not as Into displaying these things... Lol

You really do have an eye Holly,I love the way you have displayed everything.Old books are kind of my thing. Is that a tin punched plate on the bottom bookshelf? I'll go take a picture of my bookshelves in the study where we have some found things displayed and just some things I've collected. As Arnold Schwarzenegger says"I'll be bock!"

Check out these lil beauties I got for 2 bucks from a yard sale last week. They used them for printing, for a local church and it's rectory. I too shall ba Bach.. Lol.. Got some children to feed of tbe furry sort.

Ignore the dust but here are a few treasures, shells, Civil war items, old bottles, vintage cameras, keys,an old children's ladle on bottom shelf, definitely made of iron and various and sundry items. Some items were dug and some bought just because they attracted me to them.

I think your displays are great.

I too, would love to spread my meager kept finds around also. But for some reason, my loving bride of almost 28 years doesn't see it quite the same way.

So the response from the men, (at least this one), think your creative flair for displaying is awesome.

sorry, all I can see is dust. why no 18 jersey? are you really in tenn?

Very cool Holly!

I've learned that some people have the knack, or flare, for decorating. I do not have it, but you truly do. I really like the way you used your finds and displayed them and used them in your decor! Are you for hire? :)

Love it! Isn't it just so funny how certain things draw you in and just feel right? I have a thing for old stuff that has a good weight to it... I don't know why.. Lol . That's why iron relics appeal to me so great. I'm even volunteering at a preserved blast iron furnace ... Working their dye gardens and such... They do recreation stuff and all.. It's incredible. But I love being around all that old iron. I understand being drawn to old wood, furniture and such( it was once alive ) and old books.... They are so full of character and just seem to absorb the past.. But iron... I don't know the draw...it's heavy... Lol.. I like that. Substantial . Idk.. Lol. Is that a belt in the frame? I love that
