  • Ivan, Hello there. I have spoken with you a couple of times over the past few years and have lost connection with metal detecting in the past two years due to work, family....etc... Well to make a long story short, my metal detecting partner has moved to the southern gulf region of Florida and he was mostly a beach hunter. I myself enjoy relic hunting. I am finding it difficult to find areas on land to hunt. I was wondering if you could provide me with some pointers or how you research areas to hunt. Do you knock on doors, hunt public land, private land, or just pull of the street and go into the woods? I am interested in getting artifacts out of the ground to preserve them. Its getting quite difficult in Florida with tons of laws and im not real sure what is legal to hunt in Jacksonville other than the high tide to low tide mark. I am also looking for a new buddy to hunt with. I live just down the street of the Fort Caroline Monument.
Hi Ivan, I came across your post from July 27, 2012 about the key with 'industrai Argentina' written on it.
I have just found a very similar key. Wondering where you got with your search?
    Hi Ivan:

How far south does the 1715 Fleet lay. I bought a 1715 fleet coin 15 years ago and it said it was recovered off Colored beach. That is south of Fort Lauderdale. I did not know they sank that far south. David
Ivan, are you still giving GPS coords for open mines? I'm in Kenosha, WI. I can do a large radius. If I do find anything, I will make certain you are compensated. Thank you.
    Mr. Salis-
I've just been alerted to a post you wrote in a message board on the site from 10/19/08 in which you refer to my mother as a "cheating wife". I've already requested that this particular post be removed because it is unnecessary, in it's entirety, to the discussion board. Please be cautious when posting, especially when what you are writing reads as nothing more than vicious gossip. Thank you for your consideration,
    Katharine Clausen
Hello Sir! My name is Sands, I am fairly new to treasurenet.com, but I came across one of your thread's about treasure cache's that you know of. In the thread you mention a 10% donation of treasure reward's, and I was wondering if that still stand's? I would be willing to donate to you at least 25%, if I were to find anything with your info! If you do still have this offer out there, I live in Lorain, Ohio 44055, in the county of Lorain. Ok, Well thank you for your time, have a wonderful day! Happy Hunting! :4leafclover: My email is: [email protected]

    Hello Ivan,
My name is Joséand I´m from Spain. Actually I´m doing a university work about how the Spanish State tried to recover the treasure of Ubilla shipwrecks in 1715. I have read some post that you know about this case. Can you pass me more information (in English or Spanish), pictures, ilustrations, etc... about this shipwreaks?. I dont want to find the treause. I just want to compare this case with another as the Spanish State has acted to recover the treasure of the American company Odyssey. Thank you very much in advance and sorry for any inconvenience.
    Regards from Seville,
    Jose
Ivan How have you been? I just learned of an upcoming law here in Florida to ban metal detecting on the beaches. This so frustrating. I have lived here for almost 49 yrs. and now I have to give up my hobby for good.
