Harry you mind jumping over to the rock and mineral section when you have time?. I posted some round rocks with holes from Tellico for a gal. They are geo facts but have to be a type?
Appreciate you.
Thanks,
Richard
Harry, thank you for responding. I will take some more pix, try to get a good one, & send it. Maybe this time I can get a better image. I would be very surprised if it turned out to be a vertebrate, but I'd be ecstatic too.
I have never been to Blue Springs, but think I need to make the trip this fall. This is a beautiful area, & I feel blessed to live here. If you do ever make it up this way, let me know. There are some out of the way places that I like to share with folks. Amidon State park is one. locally know as "pink rocks" It is one of MO's many "shut-ins" & is carved from pink granite. Unfortunately, during the heat, it is a place for druggies & drunks to congregate, but only during swimming season. It housed a mill at one point. You can still see a few (very few) remnants. I have never TH"d there, but have always wanted to.
Will try to get the pix today. & thank you .
