Not secure warning ?

Nuttn' to worry about. TN only uses (HTTP) since we don't handle personal, etc. information. Now, if you are on a bank site - you want it to protect all your information. So, if TN used HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) the computers agree on a "code" between them, and then they scramble the messages using that "code" so that no one in between can read them. This keeps your information safe from hackers. Your browser (as in my example below) is just letting you know TN is using http and not https. Have I confused ya!

I get the same thing , I thought about it & I never type anything I don't want out there in case I run for President some day 'On the "I'm Open " ticket. + No CC or Social on here , I hate to type that info on a bank or store site .
I do that as little as possible. or Via , Pre-paid card.

My cat box is not secure either but I don't worry about it.

Never seen it, but I am a very secure person.

Post your ss# date of birth and bank account numbers and see if anything happens

Jeff was caught eating too much cat nip again.

Smokey is always watching

There are no banking or financial info transmitted so no need for https.

Just want to add, that as a domain owner, I was notified that the new warnings would go into effect in late October. Nothing new, except the warning (which is really intended to help hosting companies make more money for upgrades. :skullflag:

I have a few sites and know exactly what you mean! I have been inundated with e-mail asking if their is a problem! Honestly, it irritates the heck out of me! I broke down and pop'd the extra money just to put my visitors at ease. :(

Traffic is not encrypted. (login creds sent in clear text) But just because there is no 'financial or banking info' here, there is still a concern. If you use the same username, password, or email on other sites, criminals (not hackers) can stack these up to get the banking goodies. Chaining smaller vulns and pieces lead to big attacks.

Also opens up to man in the middling to inject code (javascript among others)

And for what its worth, a Let's Encrypt cert is trivial to set up and FREE. A cron job can auto-update when needed.
