Got this mixed metals copper vase at an estate sale. I can't find anything on the marks. Any help would be appreciated. Here's the vase, it stands a little over 9 inches tall-

Here is the mark on the bottom of it-

:headbang:You have entered "The Twilight Zone"...or "Hotel California".

Tried to edit the title because of a spelling error. No can do. Tried to delete the thread and repost, no can do. What's going on around this place? lol. :BangHead:

Nice vase, Dig...I absolutely love it.

Is it a true A & C period piece?

It's not my area of expertise. It looks like a period piece. It shows some age. I think the key is identifying the maker's mark.

What is a "vaee" anyway? :tongue3:

It's a 6'5" guy with large hands 2 finger speed typing. It's even worse on a cell phone, lol.

As for the mark, I can only find one reference to a pineapple mark. It is for the Ellis-Barker Silver Co. used from 1906-1912. The bottom does "appear" to be silverplate but i'm not so sure about it being from that company since I can find nothing on the DH initials.
