I picked these up for $16 and some change yesterday at a thrift store, Tubbs 35-1/2" Alum-A-Shoe. I know the newer snowshoes will cost more then that. I haven't checked to see what this design is worth yet. The design isn't like the Tubbs they sell today, but I sure like how they're constructed with good industrial type rivets and cable crimps and a strong looking aluminum frame. Made very well from what I see. I just need some snow under them, so I can give em try.

They do look like a quality snow shoe. I am glad not to be in the market for any at this time in my life. Florida and Georgia has ruined my taste for snow, I do miss taking a snowball and pouring some maple syrup over it for a little treat.
