I am on vacation visiting a friend, I went to this site, (an old fort on a bluff) that is very well known, even to the point even tour guides take visitors there daily to view it.
It has been occupied countless times over the years (100's yrs) by many different groups, and it was known to have treasure in the past but has been totally cleaned out over hundreds of years.
Recent weather has made the base of the bluff (which is lime stone? sand stone?) to collapse and what was a cave / cellar below the bluff is now collapsed stone and rock.
I have been trying to move some of the "rocks", many can be broken as they are soft.
here I found a small crevice and can only get my arm part way in and my camera.
I found a beach umbrella base nearby but could shift the rock - did get my camera in though and will be heading back with a pry bar!!
