Howdy yall. A relative found this buff in circulation the other day and saved it for me... I was delighted to see both a readable 1923 and stamped characters on both sides! The obverse is stamped 194 which I'm guessing would have either been used as a counter or part of a date 194* or 19*4 but your guess is as good as mine. I'm very confused about the reverse though, from what I can tell it reads EACLLS MER. Any ideas on what this could stand for? It was found in NE Ohio if that helps.
