I have a couple of gold plated half dollars any know anything about this type of coins

Plated by an outside company, not the mint. Worth 50 cent.

Do they have 1960-1980 or 1960-1985 stamped on either side of Kennedy? I have a half dozen of these I found crhing I keep them though they are only worth 50 cents
