Hello everyone!

Been doing ok, been doing a little of everything- got a few war nickels, dimes, and some halves, but nothing too exciting until now. I dropped off a bunch of nickels, halves, and quarters and got some money to buy dimes on a trip to Flint. First bank would only sell fifty and the next one gave me the other 200. This morning, I started going through them and a few rolls in I got a merc, my first. I thought that was pretty cool and went on to the next roll. I opened it up and i saw another merc staring at me and i dumped it out. All in all, that roll had another 51 mercs in it (thank God they miscounted). So a total of 53, plus two roosies, makes a total of 55 silver dimes today. I think that is a record number of mercs, if i'm not mistaken.

Know what I always think of? This is what you'd get if you went to the bank during WWII. What a little silver time capsule. Big congrats on a dream dime roll!

I just counted my dimes, this has brought up the total to 80 dimes :icon_thumleft:
