Here's PROOF there's still silver out there...
Hey everyone, checking in after another killer week. Last week we scored a great box with a pair of 1970Ds, a Franklin proof and a 1969 proof, and the week before that we scored half of a dream box. The collection carried over to this week, my friends.
I was about five rolls into my first box of the week when I saw that familiar fat silver rim. Another 1969 proof! I couldn't believe that our luck would be this good for a third week in a row, but it was. I proceeded to pull two additional proof 40%s, both 1968, firsts off of our bucket list. From this first box we also scored seven 90% including a pair of Franklins along with ten more 40%!
Next box had three 90% (including a 1958-D Franklin) and three 40%
And then in the third box lightning struck... again! More silver proofs! From this one we pulled a 1963 Franklin proof, another 1968-S and our first 1976-S silver proof! Then, three more 1964s along with eleven additional 40%. The 1964s this week were beauties, too... several BU gems with a ton of mint luster.
Enjoy the view!
40%s on the left, 90%s and proofs on the right!
Totals for the week:
14 x 90% and 28 x 40% for a total of 9.21oz. Funnily enough, ended the week with four straight skunks after the first four boxes. Happy hunting everyone, it's still out there!
