Jackpot!!! V: Over One Solid Half Dollar Roll!: Yesterday's Mini Jackpot Score!

Had an hour to walk around on my lunch break yesterday, and decided to stop into some banks I haven't been to before. I almost didn't go into the bank that had all these CWRs, but I am very glad I took the extra minute to go off the beaten path. Out of $60 in CWRs searched, this is what I found:



10 90%ers including a 1942 walking liberty, and 15 40%ers

It has been about 6 months since my first jackpot, and I figured I would link you guys back to my four previous big scores (that I have posted online):

What I have learned is it is all about persistence, nerve, luck, and never giving up! Here's to much more silver to you all (but more to me :P )!

Wow - lightning DOES strike twice, or five times . . . Congrats!!!

I felt lucky yesterday pulling 5 40%'s out of 6 rolls, and then a quarter this morning in a reject tray, but I'm still hoping for a monster find like this. I think too many tellers in my area snipe for that to happen, but one can always hope.

5 40%s from 6 rolls is awesome. While tellers do snipe, there is no way they are looking through all CWRs. Try searching quarters and dimes as well as halves. Good luck!

Allways listen to that little voice in your head, I had been ignoring it here the last few weeks when I drive by this little bank in a supermaket parking lot, well, I finally stopped in last week and asked the normal question " Do you have any half dollars or large old dollars" the teller said to me, "you should have stopped in last week" we just shipped them all out, we've had them for years and just sent them all back, nobody ever asks for them", uuhhgg! So they offered to take my number and call me when ever they get anything else in. I'm sure you get the moral of my story. HH, Maverick.
