Good Vid !

Not a bad introduction unit at $44.00
I do believe when you were claiming 5 to 5 1/2 inches it looked like you were getting 6" easy.
add headphones & a little halo effect, I can imagine it would get 8" on those same items.

Not a bad detector... I would love to see someone take one of those with the harbor freight pinpointer to a competition hunt just to see how it would do.

Would be good to see that detector in a test garden with the $200.00 detectors from the top brands.

Since most competition hunts only bury coins 2" - 3"
and considering they are probably very light detectors,
I'd say they would "hang with the big boys" if you know what I mean.

as far as comparing them to the Major Brands, in the hands of someone who used it regularly for a year or more,
most likely work pretty good.
add a little luck in walking over the targets, before someone else.

But considering bells & Whistles,
including extra coils,
their not in the same class.

But I would say Perfect for the weekend warrior,
or Curious Wannabe newbie.

How about Beaches though ? Probably a waste of $44.00

It actually does Well on the beaches in wet sand. It automatically ground balance every 45 seconds. I noticed that I have to turn down the sensitivity a little bit in wet sand. I've also done some shalo water hunting As long as the water is com it works . Haven't found any gold but lots of junk jewelry In the water
