Need help with first bottle, found in back yard. Cork topper, very small has a image of a dog or calf (think it's crude calf or sick puppy) on front, there are verried size marks on the side (dosage). When i went to wash it, I filled it with water and it took forever to get the water out, would only come out one drop at a time. I assume it is a child or an animal medicine bottle. Any one have more info?

Second bottle we found under porch while repairing (this old house). The house was built in 1870 by a DR. the bottle still had liquid and cork is intact. One side says F.A. RICHTER & Co Inc other side NEW YORK. Richter made medice out of cocaine made people feel better but did not cure them, he was based out of germany and sold to pharmacies via mail order, many countries tried to get him shut down, but he was the largest employer there employing 200 out of a population of 8747. Longer story than i can type. My house was built as a solarium (sunny place for sick people) I wonder if some of the patients actually took the med's fromthis bottle, sit and wonder, day dream of what i hold in my hand. Richter died in 1910........

Re: Med bottle? F A Richter bottle w/ cork

can u get clearer picks???

Thanks Gypsy, Richter was a good business man pretty cool story. The little tiny bottle is really neat and looking for good comparisons or any info, can you help?

Its a toy doll bottle i have one with a dog on it too not exactly like yours though.

Thanks a million, SWR, Reddie, been wondering for a while. I guess I'm used to plastic toys. I think is even more special that it was a little girls toy and survived in the dirt this long! Thanks again.
