Out today for a bit. The tip of the awl caught my eye first and while I was cleaning it for photos I spotted the other. It's the closet I've come to finding a complete fish hook. (So far :laughing9:)

I did have a good streak at finding awls last summer and I found one a couple weeks back. Maybe the streak continues.

yup those are nice that type of pulley ended awl must have been used for heavy duty perforating operation
that looks like it has been re-sharpened many
prolly used for at least 5yrs or so
those kind were about six inches when they were first made
i like the notches on the end of the fish hook
