2019 Wrap Up - 94 Silver Coins + 6 Bucket Listers!

Hey everyone!

Had another fun year digging in the dirt! Didn’t have nearly as much success as last year but pretty darn close. I got to hunt with old friends, make new ones, and stay on the continual research train. Thanks for following along for the ride. Here are some of the highlights.



94 Silver Coins. The best are:
-1883-S Morgan
-1874 Seated Half Dollar
-1902-S Barber Half
-52-S, 57, 63-D Franklin Halves
-1892, 1909-D Barber Quarters
-No Date SLQ
-1918 KGV Canadian Quarter
-00, 07, 07-D, 08-S, 12-S Barber Dimes
-42 KGV Canadian Dime
-63 Young Liz Canadian Dime
-45-D Philippines 10 Centavos




I also found 12 other silver objects and a gold ring in the final hour (literally yesterday).




I knocked six bucket listers off:
-Trade Token
-Canadian Large Cent
-King George V Silver
-King George VI Silver
-Non-Canadian Foreign Silver (Philippines 10 Centavos)
-Seated Half Dollar

I set personal highs in the following:
-Buffalo Nickels (8)
-Indian Head Pennies (11)





I found 486 wheats (largely non-pictured) and found a few relics I’m really happy with:
-1909 Alaska Yukon Pacific Expo watch fob
-1937-1938 California Chauffer badge
-1949 California Centennial Fob
-1940 Seattle Cat License





Excited to see what the new year brings. I think my finds will decline a little but hopefully the quality can stay consistent!!

Thanks so much Jer! Definitely You don't see those too often. The two I found are on opposite ends of the condition statement. Morgan might be a VF/XF. Seated half is an AG haha.

Yeah! I was fortunate to get a fair amount of it for sure. I know it can be hard to come by. In 2017 I found 24 silvers and only 2 were quarters and none bigger than that. Seems like it can be pretty random!

That's true. I've never been great at finding gold for whatever reason. Maybe I just don't hunt the right kinds of locations.
