I've actually looked for this treasure but the river has changed course many times so was hard to pin down a exact location. The area is all fields now.

Soo the story about this gold is that it was stored in a well and they covered the well to never be found again? Soo whats the real truth behind this story? People know about it they just don't know where to start looking for it. The cool thing about this story is right down from this treasure legend there is this beautiful steel bridge thats off in the distance from the road that you can no longer travel over. It's a cool site to see and visit.
