Greetings dirtfishers:

Continuing on with my posts: The first one is of two unusual coins to find around here. Both were deep and hard to get out of the ground. The barber dime was a real surprise to find up here, especially in a fairly new park. The fishscale 5 cent piece was found at an old park. I have made no attempt to clean anything, just rinsed them off.

Here are some silver quarters. Most are .800 but the later ones are only .500. The 1912 is .925.

Some silver US war time nickels:

Some silver dimes. Once again, the later ones are only .500 silver.

Have to start a new post again. Something wrong with the message section or is it deliberate?

Nice. I still haven't found anything old here in so-cal. I need to find some older spots.
