I got a pretty good deal on an old Garret groundhog, and it came with a coil that im not sure if works with it or not. It doesnt say Groundhog on it like the other coil that came with it, it says super depth twin circuit discriminator. Also the end of it is kind of mangled, is there any way i can fix that?
I can rebuild it. Or you can cut away bad terminals and run new terminals thru Square eraser and soda bottle. Then cut around eraser to fit coupling cap. Dr pepper 20oz lid works perfect.

Thanks for the info, do you know how I can tell what kind of detector it goes to? All the pictures of old coils I saw said either groundhog or deepseaker. I dont want to put something on a 15khz machine if its a 5khz coil, correct?

Also if im in the wrong forum for this, my bad. I signup up just to ask this question.

A car built to do 100 mph can go 50 but a car built to do 50 mph can't go 100
