Hi, I picked up this antique cobblers bench and would love to know more about age and such. I haven't been able to find an appraiser near me. TIA!

Interesting piece. It has a bit of a Shaker-esque look to it. Fairly utilitarian vs. ornate. The leg mounts also look like Shaker type design. Did you buy it?

I bought it for $20.
I wouldn’t think you have much trouble turning a profit on it at that cost. I’m not sure of the value though.

I've seen similar one's sell anywhere from $40 to $100, depending on condition.
