I saw a thread (months ago) about how to coat and seal iron after cleaning via electrolysis. I have a need to do this on some pieces. The attached photo piece was extremely clean and already showing new rust. I believe the solution involved using the oven. Thanks for any help.
I don’t know about the thread but you can coat the items in mineral oil (or lacquer if your into more permanent stuff), or you could use lard or something and low heat in the oven, like you would to season a cast iron pan.
