At the last minute, I got a chance to hunt a 1960 built house that had never been hunted before. Here are some of the finds. The yard was loaded with pennies but I did pick up this silver 1964 quarter and four wheats from the fifties. Also tootsie toys and a candle snuffer and a 1990 dog tag. I worked night shift the night before and was there as the sun came up. That made for some comfortable and fun hunting. Here's one picture of a penny with possibly .22 cal. impact craters.

That's some good diggins'! The capgun hammer reminded me that I was restoring an old rifle of my Dad's and my son and nephew got into it and lost one of the hammers. I'm still digging up my yard looking for it but no luck so far. No telling what those little scamps did with it! JIIM

BTW Cap. I marked a few pennies like that myself as a kid. I used a pump style .177 cal. pellet rifle. Wish I could still steady myself and see that well :-\~CO2
