Whats better than finding silver and gold yesterday, finding it today too

We didnt know if we were even going to get out today since the weatherman was predicitng a drizzly overcast day for today. Welll they got the overcast part right but good for us the drizzly part held off and we got to detect again today. We did stay close to home and concentrated on areas with smaller play areas. First stop we found less than a buck in clad but Bobbie found the silver and cz stud. first piece of the day for her. We next headed over to a park that we usually hunt in the summer only but figured what the heck, kids had been out for Christmas Vacation, maybe they left us a few things. Sure enough Bobbie found the pearl/ silver pendant and silver chain. pieces number 2 and 3 for the day. About 20 minutes later I found the small gold inital ring with 14k stamped inside. Here again not much clad less maybe 50 cents between us. We detected a couple more places and besides the silver, bobbie ended up with another $6.00+ day and I found about $4.00 + the gold ring.
Next weekend is a 3 day weekend for us and thus starts our road trip weekends for 2008

Thanks all it was a great weekend for us and we really enjoyed it. I have always loved the fact that for the most part by living here we enjoy this addiction year round. We have permission to detect some fields and property near by the house, so starting next wednesday afternoon we are going to start doing a little slow field hunting, never know what will show up
