Congrats on the ring find! I can't answer you question absolutely because I can't see the ring myself. Sometimes stamps can be hard to read and are mis-read, so I can't know without at least a better pic. I will say that by looking at it, it's very likely to be either white gold or silver. Anything else would be tarnished, even plated ring would be discolored.

It is a blend of metals. Gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. You can google it and get lots more info than I can give ya or maybe another member knows more on value etc. Cool find.:icon_thumleft:

Nice find. :icon_thumleft:

Like TNGUNS said, it's a blend of metals called Platina. I found a ring a few months back with a P4SR hallmark. I had to research it since I had never seen this mark before.

It's mostly silver with the other metals added in order for it not to tarnish.

Hey BB, I'm sure it is a good metal mix but more importantly I'd be right back there sifting that dirt and finding that stone ( Diamond ! ) Dude get back there before you lose the spot. What ever was in there looks to have been a fairly large set?

sweeet - great find! im trying to think if i have ever seen one posted with those markings.

Nice ring! I agree, get back to that spot and see if you can find the missing stone.

HH,
Anita

looks nice and I'd be looking for the stone too!

I would be getting a 5 gallon bucket of dirt from where that ring came from... nice ring!! Hope you find the rock that sat on top of it!
