Chinese Cash Coin from the 1700's!!

My oldest find to date...with my new detector! Whites Prizm 5G came through today!! Hunted a buddy's old place and came up with this one right out front, next to the sidewalk. Who knows how long this was there?! Target was about 6inches down. Cool!!

Next to the sidewalk? Is it real, or a copy? We have 30 of them at home, some were from my wife's family, very old, others are copies, just for decoration, bought at the local department store. I cant tell which are the real and which are the copies anymore, so I'm not an expert on this type of coin, or any coin for that matter!

I have literally seen hundreds of these things dug and shown at club meetings and I have yet to find one.

Maybe I am not holding my tongue right. :P

Yep...right next to the sidewalk, about 6-8" down. There is nothing to suggest that it's a "fake" coin, since it has all the earmarks of being a real one. LOL And I guess I must have been holding my tongue...ears....leg....and big toe juuuuuuuuuust right! LOL!!!! Even the sun shines on a dog's backside SOME of the time!

where there is one there is usually more.We dig over 100 of them a year,too bad most arent worth anything,but I like em!
