Hi all, Due bad weather i have not been out alot this month. With Spring the weather has got better.i been working around an open cut gold mine. Which was owned by some Irish Miners. In the creek below there are many chiness round shaft and a camp. In 1854 the chiness turned up and the Irish didn,t like the ides of sharing the gold feild. The Irish guarded their claim nite and day.Often a few rogue Chiness would sneak around the Irish pay dirt after dark. If caught they where often shoot at.
Another item that was often stolen was good set of boots. Mostly warning shoot where fired but some Irish fired to kill . I have spent about 20 hours around the site and i found these.
