Got off a little early today, had some time to pan out some concentrates from sluicing a couple of weeks back. This was about half a day washen gravels and clays. Would have loved to go out and run the sluice today but I didn't get off work that early. Thanks for looking!!!

Congrats on your gold finds . I hope I can find some like that when warm weather gets here . I just started panning for gold last summer . I did not find any . I do not have a sluice box yet , just a gold panning kit I bought . What kind of sluice box do you use ? What kind of pan is that in your photo ?

Thanks for any info .

Thanks Macklin, I use a Keene a52 sluice and that pan is a Keene pan too. I am happy with both items. I do have a Garrett super sluice pan, I like it for sampling when I don't have my sluice, but for panning my concentrates out I like the Keene. I also use a 1/2 inch classifier before putting the material through the sluice and a 1/4 inch and 1/8 before panning out. Classifying is where its at! Good luck to you keep at it, Gravelwasher

Very nice.. i cant wait to get started this year.. hope it will be better than last year hehe

Skrimpy thanks for checking it out, I think it is a musket/blackpowder ball about 30/35 caliber or very large buckshot, it had a nipple/ from the mold on one I found, I think I threw it back cause it wasn't au.

Awe man! People collect those little babys! Especially that one. It was big like the Brits used to use. It's not worth all that much. A couple of bucks maybe but people still collect them.
