It was raining pretty steady :( and John wouldn't return my call ??? so I did the only thing I could, I went detecting. Actually I wasn't planning on doing much detecting because of the rain. I just went to check out some new holes. I did end up at 5 holes.

the first one was covered in fresh dig holes. :( looks like Seeker and I have some competition. they were only about a week old. I stuck it out for about 45 min and found the broken bullet mold.

the next hole was right down the road. This one too was covered with holes. >:( It is a large site and they didn't hit it very well because I was able to pull a very nice 1888 Canadian large cent out. ;D We need to go back here.

I never did find the third hole just a large clearing and what looks to be barn rubble. The detector didn't come out of the truck here.

the forth hole looks to be the oldest yet. :) No dig holes, :D but no hits either ??? by now I was soaked through so I wasn't concentrating very well. only about 20 min here. we need to go back here too.

as I was leaving the forth hole the sun came out so I went to the hole that Seeker and I found 2 weeks ago. I found the bell in the middle of the area that Seeker found all the buttons and coins in . it was only 2 inches down, guess he didn't want that one. ;D found the little chain and the rivet there as well.

Had to take my son to a B day party then so the day was over.

HH everyone

Tim

Keep digging those small rivet signals, this will lead to some real nice finds on those deeper targets.

Nice Bell! Is that copper rivet a mans collar button? it kind of looks like it could be.Nice finds!

Yo man!!!!! Who's the guy in the picture? and you never called me you slime.....lolol I know the no signal story thats ok....But at least you found some stuff. Canadian lg cents are good....I will take the bell of your hands for a couple of bucks!!! 8)

Hey Tim, really nice finds. Love the bell. I think the rivet might be a small drawer pull, I have found several like that. I would have had a screw on the end that would have been screwed into the wood. Rained here too. Congrats...Lance

Great finds..Congrats

Nice finds Tim, I really like that bullet mold! I have been fortunate to find a musket ball half mold. The rain isn't so bad, just when it gets windy and the rain falls sideways that bothers me, LOL! HH and congrats on the nice finds, Mike
