Older Tesoro Eldorado's

Anyone want to chime in on how good they were? I'm talking about the one were the big box hangs down under the shaft. What cha think?

I have the older Silver saber with the big box that hangs down under the shaft, its a great machine.

G/Day LX Kid,
Like all Tesoro detectors there is not much wrong with the Eldorado.
Manual Ground Balance All Metal Mode, 10kHz. op frequency (good for gold)
Adjustable Sensitivity, VCO Pinpoint.
Silent search discriminate Mode and has a frequency Shift which is good for competition hunts.
Will be a bit chattery on wet salt beaches so you will have to lower the Sensitivity a bit.

The Eldorado was and still is a good general purpose detector.

there isnt a detector made I would trade my Eldorado for , I may buy others but my Eldorado will allways stay .

I used on back in the 80s for nugget hunting before dedicated gold detectors were introduced, found lots of gold with it. Was a good one.
