unknown rock and crystals

found this tucked away into the rafters of an old shed i searched in western virginia. contains all kinds of things. any info would be appreciated.

Looks like calcite crystals, and the different color is caused by different minerals. Pretty specimen though!

did you zoom in and notice the silvery metallic parts of it? i tried like heck to get closer pics but just couldnt pull it off.
