1780 Virginia Colonial Currency

I just picked this up in a trade and know almost nothing about it, other than it is a $400 note from Virginia from 1780. I just thought it was too cool to pass up.

Anyone know anything about it?

I traded a threadless glass insulator worth $2200 for this colonial currency, a 1877 trade dollar, an 1884 CC Morgan dollar, a bust half dollar, two gold coins, and some other miscellaneous coins. Almost got all that for nothing cause I only paid a couple hundred dollars for the insulator.
