Recovered these two items in north east N.C. The first item I haven't a clue as to what it could be. I know so little about American Indian artifacts. My friend was the lucky one to find them.

Looks like some kind of lava rock net sinker. Jaho!

The top one is odd. I agree it "could" be some huge net weight, or a sledge hammey with crisscross ties. matbe cerimonial since it looks hardly touched. The bottom triangle type stone looks like some type of axe or hoe. As for stone I am not sure since I am not from your area. But badandy is probably right about the stone type. VERY NICE finds. I would love to find a groved anything. LOL
