Hello everyone, glad to be a member now. I've learned much from reading these forums over the past few weeks. Checking in from Michigan. Gold/prospecting has always interested me, and after doing a bit of research found out it can be found in Michigan if you look hard enough. I've been out the last 2 days for the first time ever. First day found a few small specs, of what I believe are gold. So small I needed a microscope to see. They have the right color and characteristics. No luck today but I still have to really go over my black sand cons. Looking forward to prospecting in a real state in the future!
