Built a wren house

[fossis]

I had a scrap piece of cedar, so I built the Wren's a
house.
They are always nesting in something under our porch,
& the local cats usually get the babies.

because it has shellac on it, won't weather so bad.

I love the beauty of wood, and cedar is a great one for beauty. I know those wrens will have a nice little cozy home to nest in. I have a bunch of blue bird houses scattered about the fence rows...they're here all year round.

Thanks Muleskinner, I have built birdhouses
for years, we need to help 'Gods creatures', since
most of the old hollow trees are gone.
I have had little 'barn owls' & flying squirrels also.

So do I, & I build 'Bluebird' houses also,
we have lived several places, & I always built
houses wherever we went.
I put one up at my buddy's house, & they
moved in immediately, & raised a family.
