Hi Terry, I follow you on YouTube and followed your other channel this morning. I am new to detecting, and bought a cheap detector from Amazon on Black Friday sales after Thanksgiving. I was going to return it, but keeping it to give to my grandson. I'm looking for a better quality detector. I've kind of narrowed it down to the Nokta Legend or the Equinox 800.

But gold is gold isnt it? There is a large glacial gold mine accross the ny border in canada and conn. And mass have know gold deposits, so why is ny so unprofitable?

Terry, do you use the generic brown coil cover on your tesoro sand shark? I bought the one supposedly for it from Kellyco which is brown and it will not stay on its own. I saw where you suggested plain old scotch tape but I just can not believe using it in the water and surf would hold. Suggestions and is that the standard cover to purchase?

Here is another spot, from what I found out by talking the park ranger is legal to MD. Opposite side of Ft. Montgomery. Once I get the permit for this year.
