Let me start by saying hello. This is my first post. Just some pics from a run at Cache creek last fall. Been there a few times now and had some luck after I found what to look for and how to find the gold.
If you join the GPAA or the Gold Prospectors of Colorado you'll have more choices. Cache Creek is fine, but it gets so crowded. It's probably a little better now they don't allow any motorized equipment, all hand sluicing and metal detecting.
I am already a member of the GPAA. I've been considering the colorado gold prospectors. Do they have a lot of claims? I have been unable to find a listing of all their claims and locations.
The GPOC won't tell you where their claims are until you join, it's only $25 for a family or $18 for a single person. They have two or three claims, one for sure is in Fairplay at Beaver Creek.
