Wow, very nice. It's great to have such useful skills! You did a great job.

You do excellent work.wtg.

thanks everyone, it is 1/8th inch nickel chromium. I got it from a fab shop next door to where i work. It takes about 2 hours from start to finish. This is my second one, i am a lot happier with the weight (shaved off about half a pound from my other one). This was my first attempt at the serrated edges and you can see the first two cuts on the left side(facing the shovel) are a little funny looking, but the right side is nice and smooth. I imagine by the 4th or 5th one I will have this down!

the one on my left is my first one. Its wider and a little bit heavier but works very well! They are a little over 4lbs which isn't too bad.

Looks great! Does that handle hurt your paws? I bet some nice pipe insulating would soften that grip up.

its actually not bad at all, its nice and smooth so it doesn't grit you hands up or feel rough, but i have thought about something like that though.

I have had some people interested in buying one of these shovels. I don't know what a good price would be. What would you guys be willing to pay knowing I put about $15-$20 into one and about 3 hours worth of time. I was going to suggest like $50 plus shipping but I don't know if that sounds good or not.

here it is after paint and clearcoat on the handle for durability.

here is another blade i finished up today, he only wanted serrations on one side so that is what I did. I am impressed with how well this one turned out today...should have a finished product by tomorrow and I will be delivering it Friday.
