Need practice ?

I'm having trouble retrieving my finds, half the time I cut a beautiful plug and pull it back only to find whatever it is , it's now tangled in the plug, by the time I get it out, the plug is in sad shape. , I'm just about convinced that I'm going to have to learn to pinpoint better, try the coin probe thing or may stick to sandy beaches, and old farmhouses until I'm better at it, any tricks out there

Get a pin pointer & a screwdriver & pratice, you won't have to dig plugs. Also if you are using a large coil get a smaller one they are easyer to pin point with.

Dig deeper targets. Otherwise, you will just make a mess trying to dig plugs for 1" deep clad.
