My guess is if you touch it the voice will say... I hope you didn't pay too much. :)

Honestly I don't know, but to me the design work on it looks modern and sloppy. Don't suppose there's a makers mark anywhere? For the right price I also would have took it home but is not something I would have gambled much on. I'll be interested to know if I guessed right or wrong once you get an ID as this is well away from my main area of interest when it comes to buying... although I do take a wild shot at stuff now and again.

They are modern. I have one myself I picked up a while back for $5, it's hanging on my back porch at the moment. They sell on ebay from $10 to over $100. Just depends on who's dumb enough to pay that much at that time. At least that's the way I see it. Here have a look-

That's where good pics and an attention-getting and creative listing come into play. For those listing them it's probably a mistake to use the word antique, or put it in an antique category like some have because that easily changes things from a dumb buy to being on the seller for misrepresenting it..

A friend of my wife has the almost exact bell hanging inside an enclosed back porch. She purchased it years ago at an antique/flea market for $50 dollars. I offered her $50. No sale. Beautiful item.

Made between twenty years ago and Tuesday!!

It's interesting, out of all the posts on diggumups link, 2 mention "antique" and both brought in over a hundred, and 2 of them have a picture with the bell hanging in all it's glory, both of which also brought over a hundred (one of those reads antique, the other doesn't). All the listings not using the word antique or just showing the bell on a table brought only about $50
