I got a huge fossilized giant clam shell as gift from an uncle. He told me a couple of construction workers he hired, dug it up on his farm with a backhoe. It was completely under ground. He didn't know what to do with it, so he gave me a call and asked if I wanted it. Its needless to say, I said hell ya I want it! This is the biggest fossilized clam shell I have ever seen. Its over 30inches wide. And over 100lbs. I have seen huge clam shells before but never fossilized ones this big.
Here is a typical clam shell I come across in the jungles here. Not too big.
