Mike went missing since a few days. Hope everything is ok.
nude ghosts
I'm still here. Kinda lurking.
In a bad rut of depression.
Better that I lurk.
Thanks for thinking about me Tom.
Mike
On all those “ghost hunter” shows I always wondered why people describe their visions wearing certain types of clothing. I would think if ghosts are real you would only see them naked. Clothes are just physical items we buy and discard, they are not spiritual.
Geesh! I am supposed to be working, but I couldn't pass this up. I have had several spiritual encounters, not all of them were visions of certain clothing (no they were not nude, gb and Tom!) The first one that I KNOW was an encounter (looking back, I think I may have had others as a kid), I was home alone and I seen a man get up off the other couch and go into our kitchen. The clothing didn't stand out to me, just his shape and height and small bald head. I followed him into the kitchen, but there was no one there. I described it to my mom and she said it sounded like my grandfather was keeping me company and got up to get a beer.
Skip forward to when I was stationed at Fort Bragg, I was drying my hair in front of a three-mirrored vanity and plain as day I saw that same grandfather's reflection in the mirror. This time dressed to a tee in his suit and hat. It was unmistakeably him. I turned around and there was no one there.
A few days after my mother-in-law passed, we had a tornado warning. I was home alone and my son called to make sure I was in the basement taking cover. I reassured him that I was and that I wasn't scared. For some reason I had an overwhelming sense of peace. We got off the phone and just as the storm was the most intense, I got a big whiff of my mother-in-law's perfume. Yep she was with me and comforted me.
When my brother passed, I was depressed. We were up at the lake and MR WD was getting ready to go fishing. I had LOTR in the dvd player and was fading in and out of sleep. At the part of the movie where the cursed ghosts make that blowing noise there was a huge blowing in my ear. Real blowing, my hair even moved. It was like a reverse vacuum cleaner blowing. Scared the crap out of me and I jumped up out of bed and chased MR WD down, because I thought he was being a smart arse with me. He was outside though and denied it and I knew he wouldn't have had time to get from here to there. That's when it hit me that it was my brother letting me know that he was OK in the typical big brother brat fashion that he always was.
