It looks to me that it was thrown around in a clothes dryer for a while. Just my opinion though. -Garbageman

Are you talking about the thichness and deep ridge on the rim?

yes the thickness and depth of rim and how the letters are somewhat cut off

Do you have the ability to weigh it accurately ? like a digital scale. Should be 2.5 grams. More info is needed.

Could also be someone has used a spoon on the rim...method used for making rings from coins...
