split die?

Can any one confirm a split die across a half, I have found 2 that look a like but maybe a scratch

Does the scratch feel "raised?" Or embedded?

scratched into, not raised.

That was my impression also. If a die is cracked it should be a raised edge on the con right?

Wish I could help Morris but I am a novice. Are they both in the exact same place and length on both coins?

no, bothe accross the face but 2 diff. angles

post mint scratch damage, if it was die crack or scratch the metal would be raised.
